Contemplating Meekness (1)

I am up before the day taking time to be with my Lord before
the day starts it roll. Being with Him strengthens me and gives
me energy.

My devotion today is on meekness. I picked up a definition for
meekness a few years ago that has stuck with me. Meekens, to me,
is like being the superhero "Hulk." This big green monster, full
of power and might, walking up to a door and knocking on it instead
of knocking it down. Having the full power to do something, but not
exercising that authority for destruction.

Ps Peter Tan says, "Meekness is the ability to respond to all pressure and circumstances by loving restrain and kindness. Restrain being the fact that there is the potential to exercise great destructive power but it is withheld because of the object of one’s love towards the antagoniser."

Lord, help us to learn to knock softly on doors, and stop trying to kick them in. Help us to yield to You and Your perfect timing. Help us to smile and relax in You, knowing that
You have all things in control, and we need not try to re-created the world in one day.
Help us to be Your meek ones that inherit the earth.

PeterTan.org:
"God is actively at work in our lives with His angels. He answers our prayers even before we pray them for by the time we know enough to pray, it would have been too late so God answers based on our heart’s intention. This makes it vital that the intentions of our heart are purified by God’s Word (Hebrews 4:12). Every day, every morning, noon and night, our hearts must intend to do God’s Will and seek to please Him. The base emotion must be to love God and to love our neighbour. As we flow in this love, all things always work together for good for us (Romans 8:28)."

Others Can... But You Can Not!

Years ago, I ran across this message in an email. I do not know who wrote it, but see if you agree.

Be Blessed,
stace

If God has called you to be truly like Jesus in all your spirit, He will draw you into a life of crucifixion and humility. He will put on you such demands of obedience that you will not be allowed to follow other Christians. In many ways, He seems to let other good people do things which He will not let you do.
Others who seem to be very religious and useful may push themselves, pull wires, and scheme to carry out their plans, but you cannot. If you attempt it, you will meet with such failure and rebuke from the Lord as to make you sorely penitent.

Others can brag about themselves, their work, their successes, their writings, but the Holy Spirit will not allow you to do any such thing. If you begin to do so, He will lead you into some deep mortification that will make you despise yourself and all your good works.

Others will be allowed to succeed in making great sums of money, or having a legacy left to them, or in having luxuries, but God may supply you only on a day-to-day basis, because He wants you to have something far better than gold, a helpless dependence on Him and His unseen treasury.

The Lord may let others be honored and put forward while keeping you hidden in obscurity because He wants to produce some choice, fragrant fruit for His coming glory, which can only be produced in the shade.

God may let others be great, but keep you small. He will let others do a work for Him and get the credit, but He will make you work and toil without knowing how much you are doing. Then, to make your work still more precious, He will let others get the credit for the work which you have done; this to teach you the message of the Cross, humility, and something of the value of being cloaked with His nature. The Holy Spirit will put a strict watch on you, and with a jealous love rebuke you for careless words and feelings, or for wasting your time which other Christians never seem distressed over.

So make up your mind that God is an infinite Sovereign and has a right to do as He pleases with His own, and that He may not explain to you a thousand things which may puzzle your reason in His dealings with you. God will take you at your word; if you absolutely sell yourself to be His slave, He will wrap you up in a jealous love and let other people say and do many things that you cannot. Settle it forever; you are to deal directly with the Holy Spirit, He is to have the privilege of tying your tongue or chaining your hand or closing your eyes in ways which others are not dealt with. However, know this great secret of the Kingdom: When you are so completely possessed with the Living God that you are, in your secret heart, pleased and delighted over this peculiar, personal, private, jealous guardianship and management of the Holy Spirit over your life, you will have found the vestibule of heaven, the high calling of God.

EagleWay's Blog on Yahoo!: "Hope Against Hope
Have you found yourself in a hopeless state of mind? Sort of 'ready to give up' but know better than to do that? I believe it takes a decision, while in the middle of that valley, to believe against all beliefs, against all hope, that what you have heard from the Lord is true. I believe that is the day that our hope enters the heavenlies in a real way and things begin to change.

Abraham was a really great example. (Of course, that is why the Lord gave us that example.. smiles) But, for a while, Abraham could father a son and Sarah could not, and that is the way he tried to bring about an answer to his highest hopes ... through his own answering. Then, when Abraham could not father a child any longer... ('considering his body dead') Abraham hoped against hope. It was then that the Lord created two miracles. One in Abraham, and one is Sarah.

We can not give up our hopes, but realize this.. when we are in the position to give up, then we are also in the greatest position to turn again and grasp the things of hope that the Lord has put on our heart and hope for.

Hang in there!"

Weapon of Butterflies- Seven Thunders Ministry

Weapon of Butterflies- Seven Thunders Ministry: "The Weapon of Butterflies

This was an intriguing lesson from the Lord, as most typical weapons in the spirit realm resemble swords, arrows, and spears. However, the Spirit of God reminded me that we do not war as the world wars, and that the Kingdom of Heaven has weaponry yet to be discovered, butterflies, being only one.

In a vision I saw beautiful butterflies; they are brilliant blue, with sparkling wings. The color blue speaks of a revelation that is forthcoming. Then I saw that at different times they would fly together to spell a word, I saw the word 'Ruach'. Ruach is the Hebrew word for wind, breath, and spirit.

I heard this verse of scripture 'Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says YHVH Almighty!' (Zechariah 4:6) I heard the Lord say that it is by His Spirit that the enemy is defeated. The butterflies throw the enemy into complete confusion and distraction. When they come in the Spirit of God, it provides a barrier between us and the enemy; the enemy's vision is completely obscured.

Deuteronomy 7:23
But the LORD your God will deliver them over to you, throwing them into great confusion until they are destroyed.

To the enemy, they are confusing and obscure his vision. To us, they represent change and metamorphosis. They bring about lightness to those who are heavy in spirit. The Holy Spirit brings freedom in areas of great spiritual darkness, where change and complete transformation is desired.

It is the Spirit of God that brings about supernatural deliverance. The Lord said that wisdom is greatly needed in the weapons of the Spirit. For this weapon, wisdom is mandatory! Skill can be attained only with the Holy Spirit's direction. It requires complete peace and a light touch.

The butterflies can't be used in a negative way, they simply vanish. It is said that the enemy comes in quietly and leaves with noise. The Spirit of God often moves in with visible manifestation, however, the Spirit can leave in silence when grieved.

Psalms 51:11
Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.

This weapon can be lost through grieving the Spirit of God through harshness and 'bad' air, in other words the WORDS or AIR that we speak! The butterflies are fragile, the 'birds' of the air are eager to eat them up. The butterfly weapon is available to those who would ask the Almighty for transformation. They point to change in the understanding and revelation of kingdom weaponry. It is for all those who have the wisdom to grasp the power of the Spirit in the 'little' things. As the Spirit leads we are to release it upon those who desperately need freedom and change.

Isaiah 61:1
The Spirit of the Sovereign YHVH is on me, because YHVH has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners...
